Can anyone tell me where I can get a USA road map SHOWING where gas stations are on the highways? AM going to be traveling across country in my car next month and would like to get a road atlas or USA road map of service/gas station locations across the usa highway.....I would appreciate any help or advice you can give me.....Thank you for your time....

USA street directory/road maps/atlas? Hi, I'm from Australia and will be doing a road trip through California, Arizona and Nevada. In Australia we have Melways, which is a state wide street directory, showing all roads, highways etc. Am curious to know what the equivalent is in America, especially the 3 states I am visiting. Magellan Roadmate 300? I just bought this thig and I am aggravated. It came with a West region SD card which was blank! I get no detailed maps. How do I upload maps to this dumb this. I bought 2 other programs to try to fix the issue. Roadmate Manager from magellan wont download of course. I bought the Magellan MapSend Direct Route software and stil nothing. How can I find a proper insurance agent in Florida for international students in U.S? I am an international student on F-1 visa currently attending a community college in Florida, U.S and plan to transfer to another college in few months. Speeding ticket in KY USA? Hi All, 1st of all sorry, I'm putting this question again, because earlier I didn't give complete description. I'm a international student at University of Cincinnati , and I live in Cincinnati and I have OHIO driving license. I drove in my friends car to Erlanger, KY. My friend was driving car. On return my friend told he is not feeling good, and asked me to drive. So I started driving on the way back. Note that I was new to that area. Just 1st time in my life. I just came out from parking lot and road was in very good condition, looks like highway. I didn't see any speed limit sign, and I drove fast for about half mile, when I noticed that one COP just crossed me. COP was driving from other side. I saw COP just took U turn, as soon I saw COP taking U turn, mine speed was not more than 40 mph. but when COP crossed me it was around more than 45mph. After that COP was behind me about half mile. He didn't turn his flashing lights on. He was just driving behind me. After some time he turned his flashing lights on. I stopped and he came and asked for my licenese and other documents, he didn't say why he pulled us. He went back to his car, and came with a ticket for driving 45mph in 35 mph zone. Also he wrote a comment "The above was observed travelling at 56mph in 35mph zone on Crescent Springs Road at Atlas drive. Speed verified by MPH python !!! radar at 100 feet". In his ticket he mentioned me "Black", but I'm Asian with fair brown skin. Please advise me should I pay the fine or go to court. Fine is $154.

The Irish Government does not use the term. Folens an educational book firm no longer uses the term on atlases and maps in Ireland. UK media organisations, BBC, Guardian, Times are indecisive and confused about using the term. Oxford University Press even uses the term British Isles and Ireland when describing the archipelago contradicting its Oxford English Dictionary definition of the British Isles. Do people outside of Ireland realise how politically charged this term is and what are you thoughts, what would you call it if or would you continuing using the term even though it is highly politicised term? Palestinian brothers inside the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip are listed in government election filings as having donated $29,521.54 to Sen. Monir and Hasam Edwan denied their financial transactions online were actual donations to Obamas campaign. Instead they claimed they purchased about $30,000 in Obama T-shirts from the presidential candidates online store -- a contention that did not hold up during a WND interview, when they changed their story several times. Monir Edwan claimed he sold the T-shirts in Gaza for around $9 and that a profit was made. But it was pointed out to Edwan the T-shirts for sale on Obama's website are listed as $20.08 and that selling the merchandise for less would not yield a profit. The Two-Party system was practical for the 17-1800's, but now ? What NEW system would be a reasonable way to run USA into a great success, without taking our BASIC freedoms, and way of "day to day life? Putting a dog to sleep because of food agression? What are your thoughts, read on...........? Firstly, i'm from the UK and a dog and animal lover, I own my own dog. Tonight, my girlfriend and I watched a programme called 'Animal Cops' filmed in Pennsylvania, USA. Featured on the programme was a horrendous case as follows: A dog named Atlas, a nice natured cross breed (looked like mastiff or ridge back cross) was reported to be chained up in the rear garden of a house. The Humane Society Officers visited and found the owner to be out although they gained access to check the dog. They found the poor dog with a heavy weight tow chain wrapped around it's neck which had cut in to the flesh 1.75 inches. The dog was also seriously underweight and had obviously been badly treated due to having no food or water available to it. The officers removed the dog and took it to the local centre to be checked by a vet who said that they had never seen a case so bad. As a result, the chain was cut away, the dog was treated with stiches, antibiotics and pain killers, eventually (against all odds) made a full recovery. Once the injuries had healed and the dog regained fitness they decided to do a temprement test to establish any problems with the dogs behaviour. It passed all except for food agression, this was established by a woman placing a bowl of food on the floor when the dog was hungry and poking in a dummy hand to the food bowl whilst the dog was eating..... the dog attacked the arm. After this, the temprement tester fussed the dog with no problems. The decision was to kill the dog as they felt that they could not offer it for adoption due to this faiult and it was put to sleep. Personally, I think this is disgusting and that the Humane Society are as bad as the people who abused the dog in the first place. Of course the dog is going to be defensive over it's food..... it was starved and left alone with a 14 pound tow chain cut in to it's neck for months. But even after that it was lovely natured except for one thing.... food agression. The dog; even when first rescued was perfectly capable of eating a meal if it had been offered. The test could have been done at this stage but instead they put the animal through the treament trauma and rehab and waited until it was fit and healthy before deciding to kill it. Many dog trainers (Cesar Milan for one) have shown that this kind of bad habit can be trained out of a dog if done correctly. Surely, if the expense can be spared for a TV crew, 2 dog officers, numerous vets, kennel fee's, food and medicine they could at least afford to spare a little time to teach the dog right from wrong? Am I missing something or do I have a valid point?

Do u think america is the greates country on EARTH? Ok we all got our perspective. Lets be clear and truthful that usa is one of the many finest,good countries out there. Every place had its dirty and positive history in the making esp america. Japan is a very cool and powerful county and russia, germany and so on. I was born american and even though I came from a small city when i realize how powerful and decent my country was,I was thankful and proud of it. What can I do over the bill? I went on holiday to the Dominican republic 5 weeks ago but whilst over there I was admitted to hospital over night. I've been back 3 weeks and this morning the bill from the Dominican hospital has arrived and they want me to pay 415.00 english pounds in the next 15 days of which i'm not able to as I don't work and I can't get legal aid for. I had travel insurance with Atlas direct and they told me they were going to pay but now they won't pay out and are refusing to answer my calls and emails. I'm also 50/50 whether to pay as it doesn't say what tablets or drips they gave me at the hospital. All I do know is I will never book with Atlas direct again! Even if I have to pay they will only accept USD$ via a cheque of a USA bank. What do I do? yes I live in the UK. The insurance company have declined and the hospital have my policy number sheet. not that I have to justify to you but my holiday was booked and paid for last year b4 this credit crunch where I lost my job. It seems we are 'between a rock and a hard place" in Afghanistan and how do we hope to win there? I noticed from checking a world atlas that Iran is on the west side of Iraq and on the east is Pakistan which is infested with Taliban. Also i noticed that Kandahar which I've read is considered a strategic location is directly on a line from Iranian territory. Now I understand Obama's anger and fear of Israel. If Iran gets nuclear weapons than Obama knows he can't stop Israel from taking military action against Iran, perhaps by dropping large bombs on Iranian nuclear facilities. If that happens even though Obama will try to "kiss their posterior" and tell the Iranians that the USA had nothing to do with that, Iran will use it as an excuse to invade Afghanistan from their border with Afghanistan and our Army will be caught in the middle.
