Congress Runs the Country: The Budget Spending Drafts Bills. Dems have had the Majority in Congress since 2006? So What is the Basis of their Complaints Against Bush the last Two Years of his Presidency, When Dems Controlled What Bush Could and Couldn't Spend money on-including deficit spending, the Iraq surge, and Katrina, were all Controlled by democrats in Congress? All United States House of Representatives seats and one third of the United States Senate seats were contested in this election, as well as 36 state governorships, many state legislatures, four territorial legislatures and many state and local races. The election resulted in a sweeping victory for the Democratic Party which captured the House of Representatives, the Senate, and a majority of governorships and state legislatures from the Republican Party. Turnout was very high in the election. In some states it was reported it neared levels of turnout normally expected in a presidential election. The victory of the Democratic Party in the 2006 Congressional elections was a major milestone for an additional reason: it saw the election of the first woman to serve as the Speaker of the House. Nancy Pelosi, the leader of the Democrats in the House of Representatives, became the highest-ranking woman in the history of the government of the United States upon her election as Speaker in January 2007. In the United States, the Speaker is not only the presiding officer and leader of the majority party, the Speaker also directly follows the Vice President of the United States in the line of succession to the presidency. It was also the first election in U.S. history in which the losses for one side were so lopsided that the victorious party did not lose a single incumbent or open seat in Congress or governor's mansion. Reasons for the Democratic party takeover include the decline of the public image of George W. Bush, the dissatisfaction of the handling of both Hurricane Katrina and the War in Iraq, Bush's legislative defeat regarding Social Security Reform, and the culture of corruption, which were the series of scandals in 2006 involving Republican politicians

Who am I and why am I "at large" running around "loose"? Pardoning terrorists, discussing troop movements while being pleasured by an intern, running an obstruction-of-justice operation out of the Oval Office and suborning and committing perjury......... In acts of official perfidy that may be unparalleled in our nation’s history, Clinton accepted bribes from Red China in the form of illegal political contributions, and in exchange made policy decisions that undermined our national security. • The Red Chinese military (the so-called People’s Liberation Army, or PLA) is now able to deploy much more accurate nuclear-armed missiles pointed at the United States, in large measure because of policy decisions by President Clinton • President Clinton signed national security waivers to allow four U.S. commercial satellites to be launched in China, despite evidence that China was exporting nuclear and missile technology to Pakistan and Iran. http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2007/01/barack_hussein_.html"
Why do you think the State Department Welcomes Hamas Mouthpiece, Al-Quds TV, to DC to Film Propaganda? The State Department, in a stunning act of sponsoring terror, has invited the propaganda television station of Hamas, Al-quds TV, to film propaganda here in the United States in your dime. All at US taxpayers' expense. It's really disgusting. Hamas comes to Washington. Imagine the FDR administration welcoming Goebbels to DC during World War II to film Nazi propaganda and footing the bill. Understand that no other propaganda TV stations are invited to come here at our expense who are not pro-hamas/hezbollah or in some fashion - part of the Muslim Brotherhood. No Hindus, no Buddhists, etc. are invited. Only Muslim stations. Israel could certainly use an invite. There isn't an agency that is not infiltrated (see this). In the case of DOS, in particular, it's beyond infiltration. They are running the show. a new position/division has been created at the State Department: "Special Representative to Muslim Communities overseas and domestic". http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/07/us-government-welcomes-hamas-mouthpiece-alquds-tv-to-dc-to-film-propaganda.html Why does this question keep getting deleted?

Why can anyone feel universal health care is a bad idea:? Here is some of an article I wrote: This is a very complex issue. The majority of this research came from key word searches, "Us healthcare best in world" or similar google searches. According to Pew Research the top 10% richest people in the country followed by mostly republicans are the only people who think this nation has the best healthcare in the world. Every global or national study seems to demonstrate the oppisite of this. So, where are these rich or republican people obtaining their information I am not sure. The most common article trumpted on their web sites is an article which I discuss at the end: 10 Suprising Facts About American Healthcare. It is on no less than 2,000 of the most outspoken republican sponsored or supported sites. You know how to use google, right? There are tens of thousands of doctors that support and lobby for Universal Healthcare. The number one cause of bankruptcy in the USA is healthcare. We have the most expensive healthcare system in the world. Our system is failing http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/news/press-releases/2008-releases/republicans-democrats-disagree-us-health-care-system.html Most Republicans & Rich Think the U.S. Health Care System is the Best in the World http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1293/health-care-public-gives-lukewarm-rating-to-american-system Few See U.S. Health Care as 'Best in the World' July 24, 2009 http://www.pnhp.org/ There are thousands of doctors which support Universal Healthcare in The USA WASHINGTON, DC, 25 October 2006—High-quality health care is achievable at the national level, but the United States lags behind the rest of the industrialized world in providing necessary care for its people, according to a recent report comparing domestic and international adherence to established quality benchmarks. http://dll.umaine.edu/ble/U.S.%20HCweb.pdf Biggest health care study http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_debt Medical debt is an especially notable phenomena in the United States - the US being the world's only developed country not to offer universal health care. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Health_care_in_the_United_States The World Health Organization (WHO), in 2000, ranked the U.S. health care system as the highest in cost, first in responsiveness, 37th in overall performance, and 72nd by overall level of health (among 191 member nations included in the study) A 2008 report by the Commonwealth Fund ranked the United States last in the quality of health care among the 19 compared countries. Roehr, Bob (2008), "Health care in US ranks lowest among developed countries", BMJ 337 (jul21 1): a889, doi:10.1136/bmj.a889, PMID 18644774 http://www.tcf.org/list.asp?type=NC&pubid=1287 The United States spends more of its income on health care than any nation on earth, nearly $6,000 per person per year, more than 15 percent of our total income. In contrast, the countries of the European Monetary Union spend about $2,500 per person per year, less than 10 percent of their income. Here is Dr Scott Atlas's report. You will find these on most major Anti-Universal Healthcare and republican sites. After the article I will provide a 'debunking' http://www.ncpa.org/pub/ba649 Medical care in the United States is derided as miserable compared to health care systems in the rest of the developed world. - Debunking 1 http://www.guaranteedhealthcare.org/blog/john-geyman-md-pnhp/2009/08/06/%E2%80%9Cfacts%E2%80%9D-about-american-health-care-revisited - Debunking 2 (by someone who also works at Hoover. And who like Mr.Atlas also is self described as rich and has exceptional healthcare)http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/opinion/columnists/guests/s_513009.html - LOL? To Richard C: millions of illegal immigrants who had little or no medical care before coming here. They hit those emergency rooms for anything from a cold up to and including cancer. LOL? How racist and pathetic can you get. I have no desire to be treated by a doctor who is motivated by income. Tens of millions of people in this nation do a good job because they are passionate about it. Their jobs are as important and more dangerous than doctors: Police, Army/Navy/Marines, EMTs or Firemen. Let me add I am underpaid for what I do. Yet, this does not effect my ability to do my job as effectively or more effectively as a person who makes more. I am still really stuck on those racist comments though. Even if 70% of the uninsured people were Mexican that still leaves 30% you spit on. No one ever said anyone was turned away from the Emergency Room. Emergency room visits are intended not as a diagnose or treatment of the core problem. Rather they are to fix the situation to such a degree where you can go back home. I am still floored about such blatant racism. We have a black president and the person who now sits on the highest throne of the court is technically one of these Mexicans you seem to hate,

My new house number is 119? How can I make myself entertained with numbers about this new house number? Is there a pattern in the sqaures or somethink? ;) It also means so many different things: In mathematics 119 is a Perrin number, preceded in the sequence by 51, 68, 90 (it is the sum of the first two mentioned). 119 is the sum of five consecutive primes (17 + 19 + 23 + 29 + 31). It is a highly cototient number. In mathematics, the Perrin numbers are defined by the recurrence relation P(0) = 3, P(1) = 0, P(2) = 2, and P(n) = P(n - 2) + P(n - 3) for n > 2. The series begins 3, 0, 2, 3, 2, 5, 5, 7, 10, 12, 17, 22, 29, 39 ... It is one of the largest stars known, having a diameter 510 times that of the Sun. Ruby Star is a M-type red supergiant with a mean apparent magnitude of +4.32. It is approximately 1920 light years from Earth. The star is classified as a semiregular variable star and its brightness varies from magnitude +4.23 to +4.54 with a period of 165 days. With a colour index of +2.07, Ruby Star has been identified as the second reddest in the night sky to shine consistently at a naked eye brightness well above the 5th magnitude[1]. Down to a limiting magnitude of +5, it is superseded in redness only by the Garnet Star (Mu Cephei). The star lies 4.6 degrees off the ecliptic. This makes it a candidate for occultations by the Moon and (extremely rarely) by one of the bright planets. The star's angular diameter has been measured in three colors by lunar occultation.[2] The Saros number of the solar eclipse series which began on 850 15 May at 12:05:59 UT and will end on 2112 24 June at 07:05:54 UT. Are you proud proud to speak your language, to ensure it thrives? Why aren't more children taught the language of their forefathers? Why are 2,500 languages threatened with extinction? PARIS (AFP) – The world has lost Manx in the Isle of Man, Ubykh in Turkey and last year Alaska's last native speaker of Eyak, Marie Smith Jones, died, taking the aboriginal language with her. Of the 6,900 languages spoken in the world, some 2,500 are endangered, the UN's cultural agency UNESCO said Thursday as it released its latest atlas of world languages. There are 199 languages in the world spoken by fewer than a dozen people, including Karaim which has six speakers in Ukraine and Wichita, spoken by 10 people in the US state of Oklahoma. The last four speakers of Lengilu talk among themselves in Indonesia. India tops the list of countries with the greatest number of endangered languages, 196 in all, followed by the United States which stands to lose 192 and Indonesia, where 147 are in peril. Australian linguist Christopher Moseley, who headed the atlas' team of 25 experts, noted that countries with rich linguistic diversity like India and the United States are also facing the greatest threat of language extinction. Certain languages are even showing signs of a revival, like Cornish, a Celtic language spoken in Cornwall, southern England, and Sishee in New Caledonia. UNESCO deputy director Francoise Riviere applauded government efforts to support linguistic diversity but added that "people have to be proud to speak their language" to ensure it thrives. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20090219/ts_afp/worldlanguagesunesco Edit: Don't be ashamed Gobilina...i happen to know a very very good Welsh teacher! Who's interest do you have at heart, Mr. President? Approximately one hour after President Obama announced that he dumped the missile defense shield which alienated some of our closest allies in Eastern Europe - not to mention our strongest ally in the Middle East, Israel, do you know what happened? GENERAL ELECTRIC ANNOUNCED A MEETING WITH VLAD PUTIN. Strange, huh? Did President Obama, the guy who campaigned on criticism of George Bush for not looking after the interests of our allies, JUST SELL THEM ALL OUT to big business? General Electric is in bed with Obama, and sharing a White House with him as well. The reason GE is pushing the healthcare reform so enthusiastically is because they will make billions upon billions of dollars if that reform goes thru. Meanwhile, if you go to Pamela Gellers Atlas Shrugs website, you can read letters from Poland and others stating the deep sadness and sharp pain the people of Eastern Europe feel tonight after being stabbed in the back by the leader of the United States; these are the same folks who without question immediately backed us on the War on Terror and suffered multiple casualties as a result. They cannot understand why Barack Obama has sold them out to Putin......I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY BARACK OBAMA HAS SOLD THEM OUT TO PUTIN. This is the anniversary of their Revolution - the memorial of their freedoms; now, they watch painfully as the safety they were planning to comemmorate today, turns into quiet stares, tears rolling, heads shaking back and forth in confusion, a question in the bleary eyes, and silent prayer... Who's interest do you have at heart, Mr. President? And a question for the first Lady: Do you feel proud NOW? You cried quazi-tears today thinking of poor people with no insurance - do you have any tears to cry for millions of people who were just lied to and then sold out to a dictator? Any tears left for them?
Why did Obama "sanction the evil" that Iran does to women? The evil of the world is made possible by nothing but the sanction you give it.. - Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand. EXCLUSIVE: U.N. Elects Iran to Commission on Women's Rights FOX news Without fanfare, the United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged "immodest." NEW YORK — Without fanfare, the United Nations this week elected Iran to its Commission on the Status of Women, handing a four-year seat on the influential human rights body to a theocratic state in which stoning is enshrined in law and lashings are required for women judged "immodest." Just days after Iran abandoned a high-profile bid for a seat on the U.N. Human Rights Council, it began a covert campaign to claim a seat on the Commission on the Status of Women, which is "dedicated exclusively to gender equality and advancement of women," according to its website. Buried 2,000 words deep in a U.N. press release distributed Wednesday on the filling of "vacancies in subsidiary bodies," was the stark announcement: Iran, along with representatives from 10 other nations, was "elected by acclamation," meaning that no open vote was requested or required by any member states — including the United States. The U.S. currently holds one of the 45 seats on the body, a position set to expire in 2012. The U.S. Mission to the U.N. did not return requests for comment on whether it actively opposed elevating Iran to the women's commission. Iran's election comes just a week after one of its senior clerics declared that women who wear revealing clothing are to blame for earthquakes, a statement that created an international uproar — but little affected their bid to become an international arbiter of women's rights. The fox in charge of the chicken coop...again. Original article viewed at Atlas Shrugged .com Neda in Iran, last week...who knows who in Detroit, this week. You can avoid evil, but not the consequences of avoiding evil.
10 Reasons Why American Healthcare Is Better Than You've Been Told - How do you feel about obama's? "Health Care" Program? Saturday, August 01, 2009 10 Reasons Why American Healthcare Is Better Than You've Been Told By Jonah Goldberg From Hoover's Scott Atlas (who's also the head of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical School: 1. Americans have better survival rates than Europeans for common cancers. Breast cancer mortality is 52 percent higher in Germany than in the United States and 88 percent higher in the United Kingdom. Prostate cancer mortality is 604 percent higher in the United Kingdom and 457 percent higher in Norway. The mortality rate for colorectal cancer among British men and women is about 40 percent higher. 2. Americans have lower cancer mortality rates than Canadians. Breast cancer mortality in Canada is 9 percent higher than in the United States, prostate cancer is 184 percent higher, and colon cancer among men is about 10 percent higher. 3. Americans have better access to treatment for chronic diseases than patients in other developed countries. Some 56 percent of Americans who could benefit from statin drugs, which reduce cholesterol and protect against heart disease, are taking them. By comparison, of those patients who could benefit from these drugs, only 36 percent of the Dutch, 29 percent of the Swiss, 26 percent of Germans, 23 percent of Britons, and 17 percent of Italians receive them. 4. Americans have better access to preventive cancer screening than Canadians. Take the proportion of the appropriate-age population groups who have received recommended tests for breast, cervical, prostate, and colon cancer: Nine out of ten middle-aged American women (89 percent) have had a mammogram, compared to fewer than three-fourths of Canadians (72 percent). Nearly all American women (96 percent) have had a Pap smear, compared to fewer than 90 percent of Canadians. More than half of American men (54 percent) have had a prostatespecific antigen (PSA) test, compared to fewer than one in six Canadians (16 percent). Nearly one-third of Americans (30 percent) have had a colonoscopy, compared with fewer than one in twenty Canadians (5 percent). 5. Lower-income Americans are in better health than comparable Canadians. Twice as many American seniors with below-median incomes self-report “excellent” health (11.7 percent) compared to Canadian seniors (5.8 percent). Conversely, white, young Canadian adults with below-median incomes are 20 percent more likely than lower-income Americans to describe their health as “fair or poor.” 6. Americans spend less time waiting for care than patients in Canada and the United Kingdom. Canadian and British patients wait about twice as long—sometimes more than a year—to see a specialist, have elective surgery such as hip replacements, or get radiation treatment for cancer. All told, 827,429 people are waiting for some type of procedure in Canada. In Britain, nearly 1.8 million people are waiting for a hospital admission or outpatient treatment. 7. People in countries with more government control of health care are highly dissatisfied and believe reform is needed. More than 70 percent of German, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, and British adults say their health system needs either “fundamental change” or “complete rebuilding.” 8. Americans are more satisfied with the care they receive than Canadians. When asked about their own health care instead of the “health care system,” more than half of Americans (51.3 percent) are very satisfied with their health care services, compared with only 41.5 percent of Canadians; a lower proportion of Americans are dissatisfied (6.8 percent) than Canadians (8.5 percent). 9. Americans have better access to important new technologies such as medical imaging than do patients in Canada or Britain. An overwhelming majority of leading American physicians identify computerized tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the most important medical innovations for improving patient care during the previous decade—even as economists and policy makers unfamiliar with actual medical practice decry these techniques as wasteful. The United States has thirty-four CT scanners per million Americans, compared to twelve in Canada and eight in Britain. The United States has almost twenty-seven MRI machines per million people compared to about six per million in Canada and Britain. 10. Americans are responsible for the vast majority of all health care innovations. The top five U.S. hospitals conduct more clinical trials than all the hospitals in any other developed country. Since the mid- 1970s, the Nobel Prize in medicine or physiology has gone to U.S. residents more often than recipients from all other countries combined. In only five of the past thirty-four years did a scientist living in the United States not win or share in the prize. Most important recent medical innovations were developed in the United States. Despite serious challenges, such a

I need to ask a favor of EVERYBODY!!!? I work in tourism in Central America and I have had many North-Americans or United States citizens call and tell me they "Are from America" or that they are "traveling in from America" and I want help from everybody to stop the ignorance. To people in Latin America this is an insult whether they perceive it or not. If you are leaving the United states or any other country in North America to visit Central or south America you are still on the same continent (dont take my word for it, look it up in a Atlas or something) but we (I am a US citizen) have a major problem when our countrymen visit other countries in America and open their mouths and make us seem ignorant. If you currently reffer to the United States of America as just plain "America" (as if it were the entire continent) I assure you many people are thinking you are ignorant (they may not say it to be polite, but it happens). Please, help me make a habit of improving our image worldwide. lets quit being "dumb gringos".

why do you think the StateDepartment Welcomes Hamas Mouthpiece, Al-Quds TV, to DC to Film Propaganda? The State Department, in a stunning act of sponsoring terror, has invited the propaganda television station of Hamas, Al-quds TV, to film propaganda here in the United States in your dime. They are running the show. a new position/division has been created at the State Department: "Special Representative to Muslim Communities overseas and domestic". http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/07/us-government-welcomes-hamas-mouthpiece-alquds-tv-to-dc-to-film-propaganda.html
"since 1970 Medicare's costs have risen 34% a year faster than the rest of health care"? Why would that be? And what about this: " Stanford University professor Scott Atlas points out that from 1998 to 2002 nearly twice as many new drugs were launched in the U.S. as in Europe. According the U.S. Pharmaceutical Industry Report, some 2,900 new drugs are now being researched here. America's five top hospitals conduct more clinical trials than all the hospitals in any other developed country, according to Mr. Atlas. And a McKinsey Co. study reports that 40% of all medical travelers come to the United States for medical treatment." What would Obamacare do to that? http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124588632634150501.html subwm, I agree with that, but why would costs billed through medicare go up faster than costs billed anywhere else? Something about government management, maybe? This doesn't relate to the sheer medicare budget but to treatments under medicare as compared to treatments not paid for under medicare. subwm, I dont think insurance is the answer either. I think the faceless third party payer is what causes higher costs. Some of these answers are really interesting.
Obama: Arab-American and not African-American? Before you make any crucifying comment, read the link. We are discussing the personal background and character of a person vyeing for the Presidency of the United States of America. If this is true, his being Arab-American is not an issue. The "big issue" is why he presented (lied?) himself as African-American to America. Once this is proven, it will once again prop up his being a double-talk expert thus erode his credibility and public iintegrity. Watch this link. http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/kenyas_killing_fields/index.html

If you started smoking in the past 30 years, does that make you a moron? What more evidence do you need? Paying good money to ingest the smoke from a weed that will costs you $1000's of dollars a year doesn't make any sense, especially with the following info: Tobacco use will kill 6 million people next year from cancer, heart disease, emphysema and a range of other ills, global cancer experts said in a report issued on Tuesday. The new Tobacco Atlas from the World Lung Foundation and the American Cancer Society estimates that tobacco use costs the global economy $500 billion a year in direct medical expenses, lost productivity and environmental harm. "Tobacco's total economic costs reduce national wealth in terms of gross domestic product (GDP) by as much as 3.6 percent," the report reads. "Tobacco accounts for one out of every 10 deaths worldwide and will claim 5.5 million lives this year alone," the report said. If current trends hold, by 2020, the number will grow to an estimated 7 million and top 8 million by 2030. Last week the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on launched a tobacco center to oversee cigarettes and other related products, after winning the power to do so from Congress in June. On Tuesday it set up a committee of advisers to help guide it. Over the past four decades, smoking rates have declined in rich countries like the United States, Britain and Japan while rising in much of the developing world, according to the nonprofit research and advocacy organizations. Some other findings from the report, available at http://www.tobaccoatlas.org/: * 1 billion men smoke -- 35 percent of men in rich countries and 50 percent of men in developing countries. * About 250 million women smoke daily -- 22 percent of women in developed countries and 9 percent of women in developing countries. * Smoking rates among women are either stable or increasing in several southern, central and eastern European countries. * The risk of dying from lung cancer is more than 23 times higher for men who smoke than for nonsmokers and 13 times higher for women smokers. * Tobacco kills one-third to one-half of those who smoke. Smokers die an average of 15 years earlier than nonsmokers. * Nearly 60 percent of Chinese men smoke and China consumes more than 37 percent of the world's cigarettes. * 50 million Chinese children, mostly boys, will die prematurely from tobacco-related diseases. * Tobacco use will eventually kill 250 million of today's teenagers and children.

HUGE ECW Update! Roster To Be As Big As SmackDown & RAW!?!? *Warning Current ECW Storyline Spoiler*!?!? Incase you guys was wondering Teddy Long's storyline with the ECW Superstar Initiative will lead to ECW getting a MAJOR roster update within the coming months,as Atlas DaBone made his WWE Main Roster/TV debut on the ECW brand during last night's ECW show. The storyline will have a number of FCW Superstars being called up from FCW to the WWE Main Roster debuting on ECW.Originally DaBone was to debut on Moday Night RAW due to him wrestling at RAW House Show being accompanied by Ashley Massaro(which may have lead to the 2 being an on-screen couple),but because DaBone blew out his knee at a WWE tryout match awhile back his WWE Main Roster call-up to RAW was put on hold for a few months,so the WWE went with the direction of having him being apart of the ECW Talent intiative storyline upon his return instead. So what do you guys think about ECW getting a major roster change if you ask me it'd make more sense going in that direction seeing as how ECW now holds the ECW & WWE United States... Championships(thanks to Mark Henry & Matt Hardy),and it could mean more intresting fueds for the two titles & there title holders Matt Hardy & Mark Henry, and could hlp these new superstars go far in the WWE.So what do you guys think?

WHY DOESN'T THE MEDIA DISCUSS THE $550BILLION WITHDRAWAL IN 1 HOUR ON 9-15-08 THAT TOSSED THE ELECTION? OR IS THAT OBVIOUS? (SINCE ON 9-14 MCCAIN WAS AHEAD) http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/2009/02/tight-before-the-election-of-president-hussein-an-electronic-run-on-the-banks.html Electronic Run On Banks - $550 Billion Withdrawn In 1 Hour, Federal Reserve Halts Withdrawals - US Economy Would Have Collapsed Rep. Paul Kanjorski of Pennsylvania explains what former Treasury Secretary Paulson and Fed Chairman Bernanke told congress during the September 2008 closed door session. During the first third of the video an enraged caller is ranting to Rep. Kanjorski about how wasteful the first $700 billion bailout was. The best part is 2 minutes and 15 seconds into the tape where Rep. Kanjorski reveals what Paulson and Bernanke told congress that shocked them into supporting the first $700 billion bailout. On Thursday Sept 15, 2008 at roughly 11 AM The Federal Reserve noticed a tremendous draw down of money market accounts in the USA to the tune of $550 Billion dollars in a matter of an hour or two. Money was being removed electronically. The Treasury tried to help, opened their window and pumped in $150 Billion but quickly realized they could not stem the tide. We were having an electronic run on the banks. So they decided to closed down the accounts. Had they not closed down the accounts they estimated that by 2 PM that afternoon. Within 3 hours. $5.5 Trillion would have been withdrawn and the entire economy of the United States would have collapsed, and within 24 hours the world economy would have collapsed. Kanjorski also explains why Paulson spent the bailout money differently than he originally proposed. Some other gems from the recording: It would have been the end of our economic and political system. We would have had to spend 3 to 4 Trillion dollars to buy up all the toxic assets. But we didn't have that much we only had 700 Billion. Without a banking system you don't have an economy. We are no better off now than we were three months ago. Someone threw us in the middle of the Atlantic ocean without a life raft. We are trying to determine which is the closest shore and whether there is any chance in the world to swim that far. We don't know. More to think about. Somebody took a lot of money out of the banks. A lot. So where did it go? Who to? http://www.capitalismgonewild.com/2009/02/electronic-run-on-banks-550-billion.html

Did you see significance of the news where Chinese vessels were harassing US ship? See what's happening? "Pentagon: Chinese vessels harassed unarmed ship The Associated Press WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon charged Monday that five Chinese ships shadowed and maneuvered dangerously close to a U.S. Navy vessel in an apparent attempt to harass the American crew. Defense officials in the Obama administration said the incident Sunday followed several days of "increasingly aggressive" acts by Chinese ships in the region. The incident took place in international waters in the South China Sea, about 75 miles south of Hainan Island." This is what is really going on: - nature hates a vacuum. And Obama is creating that vacuum - "where the sun recedes. the United States navy will disappear from the Indian ocean and the china sea. The first result of this will emerge in conflict between China and Taiwan, with Taiwan exposed to missile fire from the Chinese mainland. soon, the red Chinese will surmount the obstacle of a 40 miles stretch of ocean, and will invade and occupy Taiwan. Who or what is to stop China from doing this. In the absence of an American navy in the Indian ocean and the South China seas, a power vacuum exists, into which will step a militarily resurgent Japan, and expansion minded China and India. China and India are planning the laying of many “bottoms,” which to you lubbers, means that they are going to build blue water navies. Until now, with the presence of the American navy upon the high seas, with over 200 years of warfare and strategic experience, these countries might have been expected to be prudent in their expansion: a country and military force does not step into that sort of context with impunity or without caution, especially given the aggressive posture for battle always exhibited in the U.S. navy, from John Paul Jones to Bull Halsey to Chester Nimitz. However, where once there would have been every caution exercised, there will only be “irrational exuberance” as the Chinese and the Indians rush in to fill the vacuum." http://atlasshrugs2000.typepad.com/atlas_shrugs/
Could this be the Change obama speaks of and the reason he cant talk about what change???? Kenya a Microcosm for Future Events The battles occurring in Kenya are a microcosm of the future battles that will occur in the West and the United States elections as we witness the growth of Leftist/Marxist – Islamist Alliance striving to achieve “Change” and create a New World Order leading the formation of global Islamic kingdom of God. Whether it is by economic means through the formation of Islamic finance and economics and acquisition of Western assets via the Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs), military and political action, or terrorism, the goal is the same. The growth of Islamic Financial institutions and their Sovereign Wealth Funds applying Shariah law should be an early warning to this growing trend. Complete Draft Results!!? A little late, sorry about that, you probably already know about what happened at the draft, but I'm bored and got nothing else to do!! So the results are as follows: Raw: WWE Champion Triple H United Stated Champion MVP Diva's Champion Maryse Big Show Matt Hardy The Miz SmackDown: Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio Women's Champion Melina Chris Jericho CM Punk Kane ECW: Vladimir Kozlov Confirmed for Supplemental Draft (Wednesday on WWE.com): Maria to Raw Candice Michelle to SmackDown Mark Henry & Tony Atlas to Raw DH Smith to Raw ... (and more) Before the draft, I posted a question about a spoiler concerning new GM of Raw Vickie Guerrero and Edge... well, I guess Edge didn't get drafted to Raw after all (which sucks, because Edge is... well, you guessed it... MY FAVORITE SUPERSTAR!!) But I think the reason he didn't get drafted was since Triple H got drafted and brought the WWE Title with him and John Cena is the World Heavyweight Champion on Raw, which leaves SmackDown without a champion, Edge will win it back at Backlash and bring the World Title over to SmackDown. But, like today, I could be wrong. So what did you think of the draft?? Did you think it was going to play out differently?? Why or why not?? The Supplemental Draft is a draft another draft, only on WWE.com. Check it out on Wednesday on, you guessed it, www.wwe.com

How much influence has Alan Greenspan had on the current economic situation? GREENSPAN GOT HIS START WITH AYN RAND In 1966, Ayn Rand collected a series of essays into the book, "Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal." Twenty of the essays in the were written by Rand. The rest came from a trio of Rand's acolytes, followers who had already been writing the newsletter of her "Objectivist" cult for more than a decade. Among these were three essays from a member of Rand's inner circle; an economic advisor and dropout from the graduate economics program at Columbia - Alan Greenspan. Greenspan was such a close friend of Rand's, that she passed him manuscript pages of Atlas Shrugged while the book was being written. He paid rapt attention to her tale of mysterious genius John Galt - brilliant engineer, physicist, philosopher, and organizer. Galt, who shows the world who is really in charge by leading a rebellion of industrialists against laws that interfere with their companies, was in perfect agreement with the essays that Greenspan was writing at the time. In those essays, Greenspan rails against the "statists" and their desire to blame failures leading to the Great Depression on greed and unsafe lending practices. Instead, says Greenspan, the economy was experiencing a "mild contraction" which would have amounted to nothing, had the government not overreacted. Greenspan also attacks the "welfare state" and its schemes to "confiscate the wealth of the productive members of society." When John Galt leads his own inner circle of polymath geniuses to abandon the working classes and form a objectivist paradise, Greenspan must have cheered. The essays Greenspan contributed to the 1966 collection, like the rest of the book, praised the idea of unfettered, unrestricted, unregulated, laissez-faire capitalism. Sure, there were problems in the system as it existed at the time, but those problems were not the fault of capitalism. Real capitalism, pure capitalism, had never been tried. Under pure capitalism, there would be a complete "separation of capitalism and state," and the resulting markets would be self-governing and self-correcting. It was only the intrusion of regulations into the system that brought on instability and immorality. Kick government out, and the system would not only flourish, but express the innate reasoning and positive force of selfishness. Chief disciple Greenspan carried this torch for the next half-century and beyond. Pro-business conservatives (not surprisingly) found great comfort in a philosophy that said squeezing every dime out of the system was not only fair, but the only moral solution. Not long after the publication of his essays in Rand's book, Greenspan was invited to become an advisor to the Nixon administration. When Ford replaced Nixon, Greenspan became the chair of the Council of Economic Advisors. And when Reagan took power, Greenspan was no longer the voice crying in the wilderness, he was the very center of the establishment. Objectivism and Conservatism had united in Market Fundamentalism, and that force was on a jihad against regulation of any kind. For the next thirty years, Greenspan would cheer the deregulation of the S&Ls and join John McCain in trying to protect Charles Keating from regulators. He would praise the deregulation of energy trading, and assure everyone that companies like Enron were pointing the way to greater efficiency and lower consumer prices - and collect the 2000 "Enron Prize" in exchange. He would urge not only the creation of credit default swaps, but applaud their lack of regulation and invisibility in the system. He would argue against oversight, against limits on CEO pay, and for the increasingly complex systems by which banks generated new instruments of credit. No one person did more to spread Rand's message of unregulated markets, unconstrained free trade, and unlimited power for corporate officers than Alan Greenspan.
What other land do the Jews need to control before they believe Israel is once again "complete"? I have heard some Jews say there are provinces or parts of Israel still not under their control and some Israeli land is in what is now Iran. National borders have been in a constant state of flux for thousands of years and some nations rise up then cease to exist altogether. I still don't understand why Israel has a right to exist anymore than what was known as Palestine, or the Holy Land, Mesopotamia, Kurdistan and so on. Look at any atlas from about 1911 and you'll find any number of nations which have disappeared and are forgotten. I'd like to know what the Jews' agenda is for Israel, how big they really want it to get and whose blood will be spilled uniting these parts of Israel currently occupied by gentiles. Thank you all for your replies so far (apart from the ones that contribute nothing and seem to have been given the thumbs down already). I'd hate to know my kids and grand children and great grand children will be forever fighting wars in which they perhaps have no interest because there is always some "Israeli" land just across the border from Israel that has "always been a part of Israel but was stolen by the Turks / Arabs etc.. It's the long term agenda, Israel's vision of it's own future I'd like to understand. Nosdda, who gave the land in Palestine? The Palestinians?
