USA maps??? I really need a good, clear, visible map, that I can print to see 10 major cities of the US. Anyway to make a Mio C230 GPS with Asia software work with USA maps? Hi. I bought a Mio GPS in Singapore but realised that the chip or whatever it has in it is zone specific. Is there anyway to make it work with USA maps and if so, where can I get it for testing. I don't mind paying if it works.

Winter Olympic 2010, when they introduce countries, why do they use USA map as reference? I'm watching the Winter Olympic 2010. As of now, they are introducing the countries. When each country come out, the lower left corner of the TV shows where the country is on the world map. Why do they show USA map first (as the reference) before showing that country's spot on the world map? Why not Canada?

I can read maps but do not understand them. HELP! Can you tell me where to find info on driving in the USA? I travel to the United States each summer but it is usually a mess. We rent a car and start our road trip. It would be helpful if I knew how to understand reading road maps. I would also like to know what the road signs means. Example there are numbers such as 875 and i-75. I was told that i-95 is like the one major road in the US but we get confused when we see all of the other numbers. However, I must say even with our limited knowledge we were able to drive from Florida to New Jersey. Also tell me how was it possible for us to drive through Savannah, North Carolina and all the other places and not go into Alabama and Tenneesee?

How many Native American Indians are in the USA? We didn't steal indian land. We got it through trade and war, you make it sound like it happened in one day - it happened over about 400 years, and some argue it's still going on now. Can someone show me a map of Mexico, USA, and Canada where the indians actually were in a country, keeping in mind at least in America, at no time were there every more than 9 million of them in a country that now has 300 million? Not dissing heritage, but 9 million peoples could never have stood up to any major force at that time. If it wasn't the Europeans, it would have been Spain and Portugal at least and like the other peoples that became extinct in Mexico, the Indians would have gone the same way. If I am not mistaken there's more indians in America now than their were then.

If the Entire USA where mapped out in 7.5 minute scale how large would the map be? The 7.5 map allows for every inch to be exactly 2,000 ft, a little less then a mile. So if there were a full scaled map of the US in this scale how large would it be? Its rather a mathematical question
