Atlas of USA

We have a Magellan Triton 500. While we are in the USA the pointer is always on the wrong side of road. plshlp?

We have a Magellan Triton 500. While we are in Canada all the roads on the map appear in the right place. But when in the USA the location of the pointer is always on the wrong side of the road or hwy. Is this somthing to do with the datum settings or somthing else. Thanks for any replys. Rod
